Our staff
All of our coaches are handpicked and have a respected basketball background. Their knowledge and love for the game will help shape and improve your child’s basketball IQ. Our coaches will teach all different positions (point guard, shooting guard and post) to ensure that your child improves in all areas of their game as well as receive the appropriate coaching that they need. Most importantly, our coaches are picked because of their joy and passion to give back and teach the game they love to those who aspire to be great.
Owner/ Camp Director - Lauren Bell
Lauren played AAU Basketball for the Mission Rec Rebels under Coach Oscar Jimenez. Her time playing with the Rebels is when she developed a love for the game. With countless hours of practice and workouts, he was able to take Lauren’s game to the next level and prepare her for her next chapter in life. Lauren attended high school at Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (2004-2008) where she won 3 back to back state championships under one of the most respected coaches in the Bay Area, Brian Harrigan. She was highly recruited in the West Coast Conference in which she received a full athletic scholarship to Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA. After her senior season, she was contacted by her agent, Thomas Prodromou, presenting her with an opportunity to play professional basketball in Europe. Lauren decided to pursue her dream of playing professional basketball and has now played in four countries; Poland, Czech Republic, Bulgaria and Cyprus in which she has three years of professional experience. She is currently a Dean of Students at Immaculate Conception Academy & Realtor for Keller Williams Peninsula Estates.

Nate garth
Nate began his basketball journey at the age of six. He played AAU basketball for "Play Hard Play Smart" where he developed his love for the game. He went on to play high school basketball for Hamilton in Memphis, Tennessee where he was recognized as one of the top point guards in his conference. Nate is known for his 3pt shooting, play making abilities, being able to create shots for himself and teammates as well as his length which created a mismatch for smaller guards. He had a successful four years at Hamilton which led him to a full scholarship to New Mexico State. After two years at New Mexico State, he realized that the basketball program was not a good fit for him. He then took his talents to UC Santa Barbara and received a BS degree in Anthropology. Nate has played professional basketball in Iceland, Norway, Serbia, Bolivia & Australia. He is great with kids and is passionate about teaching the game of basketball to our youth. He is currently a skills development trainer in Sacramento, CA.
